GPtreasure Search Engine

Just found out that GPtreasure have a rather nifty search engine and toolbar you can download. Download the toolbar and you get $0.50. Searches are $0.01 per 3 valid searches and as far as I can see there aren't any limits to how many you can do per day.

The only real downside to the search engine is that you lose the back button feature in the browser. This means to click back a page you have to use the history tab which is a pain in the..... This was using Firefox. It's only compatible with Firefox and explorer at the moment but can be used on both Mac and PC.

Remember minimum payout is only $0.01 on this site through Paypal and it's successfully paid out quite a few times. You can also watch videos, surveys, etc... and earnings rack up fairly quickly.

You can join here:

RadiumOne Videos Not Crediting

Not sure what's going on over at RadiumOne but this is the second time I've had an issue with something not crediting. On both Swagbucks and GPtreasure I've tried to watch 2 videos from RadiumOne and on neither site have they credited. This is in addition to the Starbucks survey I tried to complete a few days ago and didn't get credited either.

Interested to know if anyone else has had any similar experiences?

Search Lotto - Free Lotto Entry For Searching - UK Only

Stumbled across this quite nifty search and earn site. It's called search lotto. For every 25 genuine searches you do using their search engine, you get an entry into the National Lottery (as part of a 10 person strong syndicate). I believe the numbers are lucky dip. Credited searches are limited to 10 per day and 50 per week but the search results are good as they use Yahoo.

Setting up an account is free and you can do so here (this is a referral link so you may chose not to use it):

Neobux Challenge Update

Right, so this is now really beginning to go down the pan. My 3 clickers have fallen into a pattern of idleness. No-one has clicked for 5 days and I've had to recycle 2 of them. Averages for all were barely over 1.1 so as things stand, I'm making a loss now on my $5 investment.

I can hardly say i'm surprised as I've been skeptical of this renting referrals scheme since I started (and is why I started to test it for myself). Things might pick up now I've recycled 2 of them but I shall not be holding my breath for any great period of time.

Online Earning Diary 13.12.12

Here's what I've made today and where and how:

Swagbucks (2 x searches, 1 x survey taking 15 mins and watching advert videos): 138 SB (roughly $1.38 depending on how you cashout)

Faster Rewards (watching advert videos): $0.11

Get-Paid (watching advert videos): $0.26

SurveyMad (watching advert videos): $0.11

QuickRewards (watching advert videos and ptc): $0.05

Total: $1.91

In addition I have made £0.12 from Inboxpounds but won't count these until I know for sure it will cashout.

My Online Earnings Diary 12.12.12

I thought this might be fun - trying to keep a tab on what I'm actually earning each day. To start with, I'll go with a few daily updates until I get bored and then likely I'll update with weekly overall figures.

Note that all figures will be those accrued that day and the rough monetary value for points on certain sites. This doesn't take into account reaching payment thresholds so is not a take home figure each day. Payout thresholds on many sites are quite high and take a while to reach.

The sites I use are sites I trust and that have paid out.

So... today was a slow day with not much participation from me. It mostly involved watching a few videos that ran in the background while I was doing other things.

Here's what I've made today and where and how:

Swagbucks (2 x searches and watching advert videos): 43 SB (roughly $0.43 depending on how you cashout)

Faster Rewards (watching advert videos): $0.05

Get-Paid (watching advert videos): $0.10

SurveyMad (watching advert videos): $0.07

Total: $0.65

RadiumOne Starbucks Survey - Not Crediting!!

Earlier today I took part in a Startbucks survey through RadiumOne via GPtreasure (aka Get-Paid). It's now been well over an hour since completing and getting to the 'thank you' completion screen but I haven't received my payment (the claim is it should be credited in 5-30 mins).

I've tried to make a claim but being the fool I am, I closed the 'thank you' page so have no proof which is required.

2 words of warning then:

1) I didn't get paid from this survey although I completed it so think twice before wasting your time on it
2) Never close the page on a completed survey and/or always take a screen grab of it incase you don't get credited and need proof.

I've not had an issue with GPtreasure before so I don't think it's their wrongdoing as it's through an external source.

Interestingly, I just tried to re-take the survey but can't because it says my answers have already been received. Why haven't I been credited then?

A little more negative press for Starbucks then...

The Neobux Challenge - SLOWING DOWN....

Uh oh.

My clickers are really slowing the pace. I'm banging in my minimum 4 per day without fail since I started this but sadly my 3 are less prolific. Stats are beginning to tell a sad story.....

Clicker 1 - last click 2012/12/06 - average 1.474
Clicker 2 - last click yesterday (THANK YOU!) - average 1.714
Clicker 3 - last click 2012/12/09 - average 1.286

I was beginning to think this might actually start to prove worthwhile around the time of my previous post and that I would be proved wrong... alas, things seem to be going the way I had expected.

Here's hoping for an upturn in fortune.

Last Minute Online Xmas Shopping?

... couple of smart tools I use for shopping on Amazon or Ebay (UK but I'm sure there will be equivalents available locally.

One is this rather handy Amazon Discount Finder from Martin Lewis. It searches and finds products with great discounts for the criteria you enter. It's free so give it a whirl. I use it all the time...

Secondly, you may or may not be familiar with ebay snippers. What they do is automatically place a bid for you on something a few seconds before the time runs out. There are many out there but I find this one to be reliable. It used to be Goofbay but they've just gone through an overhaul and re-emerged as Goofbid. I've already successful placed some bids with it's new incarnation so nothing has changed in terms of functionality. Again, it's free to set an account up and can save you money by not getting into a bidding war. It's simple to use and self explanatory.

OK, not really about making money... but will save you some.

Fastest Rewards - Fast Rewards Again!

Faster Rewards have redeemed themselves. My previous post about their slowness at rewarding and only after being prompted looks like being an anomaly. I have since cashed out 3 times and have received my gift code on either the same day or next working day. Let's hope this continues as this site is a tidy little earner.

GiftHulk - No Payment

A word of warning. I tried to cash out on Gifthulk (US$5 Paypal) over a week ago. The estimate delivery for my payment was 2nd December. It's the 10th today and I've still received nothing. I sent them a message on Friday 7th December querying where the payment was, and have had no response to that message.

I will update on how this progresses but it's not looking good. Even if they do pay, it's already over a week late.

An addendum to this - I sent another message today and received a prompt payment. Still not over the moon that I had to chase twice but received it in the end.

The Neobux Challenge - Day 16

I haven't updated in this whole Neobux Challenge thingy so thought I ought to! We're on day 16 now and a steady pace seems to have taken hold.

I have extended all 3 of my clickers to 150 days now and am desperately remembering to try to click myself each day. It's becoming harder than I thought but haven't missed one yet.

My averages look as follows based on a total of 84

Clicker 1: 2.154
Clicker 2: 2.000
Clicker 3: 1.500

I still can't work the maths out on this but have been told each need to maintain an average of around 1.3 I believe to break even. So... so far so good if they maintain this pace.
